Adding to a growing collection that already features London, Berlin, San Fran, and New York, Jenni Sparks has turned her creative attention to Paris in her latest illustrated map.
Finding your way around the seemingly labyrinthian capitals of the world can often induce panic and fear in the best of us. The amount of things to do can seem overwhelming with traditional maps not giving us many clues as to a place to start.
Having one of the beautifully detailed maps by Jenni Sparks on your walls could be the perfect solution and be the inspiration to find that sense of adventure once again.
Her wonderful, little drawings pack every centimetre of the streets, parks and alleyways with useful, illustrated pointers that scream for exploration and must-try-that-one-day markers.
We take a look at some close ups of her recent Paris map, some of her previously covered cities, and hear a little about the project from the print commissioners, Evermade.
“After several months of research, Jenni has managed to illustrate a definitive culture map of the French capital.
Featuring various aspects of Paris, from the world-dominating fashion houses and glossy cosmetics companies to the small, obscure cheese shops and cafés cherished by the locals. This refreshingly honest map takes an in-depth look beyond the typical tourist route to show it all!”
